I used to leave my place about 6.00am - but I live near the base of Greenmount and get to Kal about 3 or 4 pm if I didnt stop in SX or Coolgardie
Mmmm I just had another look and its 624km from Butler so I am assuming around 7 hours travel not including stops of course traveling at say 95/100km. So saying that your saying it use to take you 9 to 10 hours with no stops. I think we will stop in at SX though.
nah, while the kids were young, used to have to stop all the time, usually Bakers Hill, Northam, Tammin, SX, Coolgardie then Kal
6 stops, at 1/2 hour each = 3 hours it all adds up
now, Im a lazy bugga and take my time


@bigcol Thanks for the time and effort for posting all of that info on Kalgoolie and the travels on the way and hopefully I can repay the favour sometime.

someone told me early last year, there was going to be - or already is, another Tourist mine you can visit and go underground.........
dont quote me on it - I cannot even remember who told me - maybe my Father......??? cannot remember... sorry
