16' Series Just ordered 16.49-1

Hi,
Just thought I would do a quick introduction, we have just ordered a new Expanda 16.49-1 due for delivery 20th of May. We have a Jayco Eagle at the moment and have traded it for the Expanda.

I have been enjoying reading the threads and felt that I have already learnt so much.

I had a quick question.. With the van being 16 feet, I have been looking at covers, do I go for a 14-16ft or 16-18 ft.

Hi Jan,
We had a 2007 16.49.3 up until this morning. Before modifying the carport we had used a 16 - 18 ft cover. I would say the 14 - 16 ft cover would be too small.

Jayco measurements are "EXTERNAL" when my dealer sent me my cover he sent a 14-16 and is a very snug fit so 16-18 might be better. might be able to cover gas bolts as well.

Welcome and congrats mate. We too went from an eagle to a 16.49.1 expanda. No regrets and love it! Hope all goes smoothly for you.
