Hi All,

I've been trying to figure out if there's any special way of opening the safe in our Expanda, I've tried to insert the key and for the life of me can't open the bloody thing, I've done a search and can't find a thing.

Look forward to hearing some good replies and no bad ones hopefully.:peace:

Don't think there is special method, I insert the key, give it a turn & then I pull the inner draw out. There is just enough room to slide it all the way out

Don't know if all the vans have a key with a notch on it. I insert the key with the notch straight up and turn it clockwise...

With my 14.44-5 OB, they placed the small safe in the bottom shelf under the wardrobe. Such a stupid position that the whole shelf was wasted. Couldn't slide in any storage boxes. Ended up taking it out. Might fit it in the small cupboard up high under the pop up roof. Out of the way but still easy to access. Getting it out required Y to go under the van and grip the lock nut with me inside with a long shaft Philips head to undo the screws. Not sure yet as size isn't big enough to put in stuff I might want to lock away eg iPads etc.
