We paid for a month before rope off ticket. So heading up next weekend to rope off a nice flat grassy spot. A friend has told us there will be line up of a few km back from the main gate on that weekend just to get the best spots. He was saying people even camp on the side of the road the night before. Crazy.

you got me worried now, we are getting there the weekend before!!
Dont worry Bigman its a huge place plenty of camp spots so you should be right. If by any chance you cant find a good spot we could always squeeze in another Jayco next to us. Just dont block out the sun with the Basestation towering of us..;)

We usually use a 20L bucket. When full we tip it on a tree. All depends where your camped. Could just run it out into the bush if nobody is on the down side of you.

Up at 3.30am to be up at Muster Site thismorning to rope off my camping spot for the 4day event. Nice flat grassy spot and not too far of a stumble back from the gate.

@Adam79 Bloody hell it looks cold!!! I'm guessing you have to bring your own pickets and rope? and I'm also guessing that everyone ropes off once they get there? Sorry for the questions, just making sure I arrive prepared!!

Cheers...
Yes Bigman it was a little cool about 6deg. Bring all your pickets rope ect. We paid $100 something dollars to be able to rope off a camping area a month before the event as we were sick of camping on the side of a hill and too far away to walk, we had to bus it in. We are in Poulsens Paddock just behind the main stage area. There were couple hundred people doing the same thing.
