Info: Showground camping , number on front gate to text on arrival then drive in and look for a site, caretaker will ring back or meet you as you drive around ..... Nice area, typical Showground site not all sites are flat, powered, unpowered , dogs ok and big rigs, nice spot....

Comments: Nice place to stop, easy to find and its good even when pouring rain, shady sites available or full sun, the town of Gulgong needs a minimum of a day to sight see, better off with 2 days, the Pioneer Museum needs at good 3 hours to wander around or more, it is fantastic, some interesting shops, pubs and RSL with very quaint streets, so don't be in a rush......... roads are in good nick as well, check fuel pricing on Petrol Spy as the Lowes Depot was a good price compared to the others in town.... Its certainly going to be a revisit...
