Hi all, I had the gas bayonet moved after doing away with the slide out bbq, what do people use for covers, can you buy covers ? Need help as can't find previous thread.
@Kenshi123 is correct.Hi mate. @Holden_man got some from eBay I think. I have been meaning to get one. Check his thread out.
Ripped off! My Starcraft didn't have one!Jayco used these on the gas bayonet on the Starcraft
The other very easy and effective option is a $1.20 door stopper from Bunnings. Mine is working a treat.

1000km on the road this trip. Heavy weather on the last 300 too. All good.Yeah that's always worked for me.
Yeah @Billrw136 didn't get them on his Journey either. Maybe they were trying hard to impress me ha ha . Nah I think it was because the bayonet was behind the wheels?
We didn't get one on our Silverline eitherRipped off! My Starcraft didn't have one!
I did not get a cover on my 17.58 maybe it's another change since our model was madeYour implication of common sense amuses me
Ours is in front of the water tank on the inside of the chassis . Crap place and I to need to lay under just to get to it .Not provided with my 14.44-5 OB, just bought one from eBay for $5.00 something.
What is a pain is because the bayonet point s down, it is not easy to plug in the gas hose.
I have to get down on hands and knees to get it in properly. Others?
Can't see why plug costs $8 plus another $8 postage from Vic, can get them cheaper than that, I did.
