Thats the one @crustt.

I'd also like an adaptor from the 3/8 BSP to female POL so i dont need to change my hose fittings from the babyq. Then, i can take the q anywhere still!

Yep - the heater hoses are cheaper but they are BSP connections, not SAE as pointed out by @macca.

Went to a BBQs Galore specialist Weber store and they said that I did not know what I was talking about with regards the genuine 3m Weber bayonet hose. They said they have never seen or heard of the bayonet hoses before and were rather rude about it!

Guess he lost my business.

Purchased from eBay - 3m Stainless Steel Bayonet to 3/8 SAE for Weber Q - It has full AGA Approval.

Excuse my ignorance, I have a 16-49-3 and Baby Q. How can I attach a 3m hose to 2nd gas bottle on front of van, when one is in use. ... We only ever free camp! Is there some piggy back attachment for the 2nd gas bottle? Alternatively, how could I organise a gas bayonet fitting down back LHS of van (where I currently do my cooking). Sorry for being so vague ... Its a chick thing as far as techs are concerned!

FHC. Yes you need to get a gas bayonet fitted to your van. Did you buy new? If it's secondhand check there is not one already.

Best options is ask you Jayco dealer for a quote or if you know a licensed gas plumber speak with them. the only thing difficult for a normal plumber is sourcing the 1/4 or 3/8 line. Most plumbing shops don't stock it but it is available online. Ours is taped of near the fridge line.

Has anyone got a gas bayonet cover under their van? The bayonet faces down on my van and is behind the wheel so i'm thinking it won't be long before dirt and dust will get into the bayonet and it won't seal properly or block the BBQ hose when I connect it. I will also turn the isolation tap off when not in use... Just to be safe.
When my wife bought our 3m hose the guy at camec geebung ( I think) threw in a cap for free. Has the same bayonet fitting so it won't fall out and also has a fail safe ring to stop it being lost or dropped in sand etc. goos old fashioned split ring

I bought ours from Bayswater Jayco. Can't remember what it cost.

We have a gas bayonet front and rear. Never had a problem with either.
