Fellow real footy fans..... If any of you know someone who is a swans member and didn't use their membership to buy tickets can you please let me know. We are amost 2000 km from home and would love to support the red and white while we're in town :) The cheapest tickets through the lions were $1500 each!

The members had to go into a ballot a few weeks back for tix if they wanted them - 15000 tix for 30000 members (plus sponsors, packages and other special groups). I believe it is being drawn today (now that the two finals teams are confirmed) so stay tuned. You've possible got more chance through the supporters of teams not in the final though, but they only got 1000 or so each......
I do know of a couple of people who may sell their 'guaranteed' tickets of other clubs, so PM me your phone number as if I hear anything I'll let you know as soon as I can. No promises, but a slim chance.

I love my Holden Ute and 2 EK's, but I agree, their 4bees are ordinary. The Colorado's are dissapointing, could have been much better. You will be able to get them at bargain prices soon.

Sorry Andrea, I tried, but could only tentatively find a single ticket after the others fell thru. I hope the boys still enjoyed the atmosphere at Fed Square......

Thanks for trying. After being rained on all day yesterday (gf parade) we decided to go to the local pub. Turns out the weather wasn't too bad!! At least the right team won!

We did manage a visit to the royal childrens hospital during out stay though. The two year old busted his head open in the mcg sports museum and had to get his head glued. Saved us a trip to the aquarium. The one at the hospital was so big there were even sharks!

Cool hospital, eh? I was in there fundraising yesterday (with a book stall). There's Meercats as well...did you see them? Hope the young bloke's OK now. Sorry about the weather; glad about the Swans win.

Very cool emergency room anyway... Didn't venture any further than that. The ambos told us about the meercats though.

The little one is okay. Still has an egg on his head and the scar is perfectly located for future appendage removal jokes.

Being a member of the North Sydney club for over 40 years I don't support manly. I support two teams, Titans and whoever plays the Broncos  so I was glad to see Manly win.

Ah North Sydney, I used to go to sone Bears home ground games some 20 years ago as a teen. But back then it wasn't to watch the footy, was to check out the boys!

Oh Lara,

Till then here was I thinking you were a classy lass...

I have to blame the raging teenage hormones.
I often laugh because one of my sisters (who I didnt get on with as a teen) used to make predictions of where my life would take me, won't go into the details but I will say I think everyone was surprised that I settled down and had my first daughter at 23 and married. Shock horror gasp..........
