Wondering how you got on towing the van up there? We have a Starcraft 17.58 and towing with a triton. Considering going up there for Xmas, but wondering how it would go

I'm curious to know too...

I'm not sure we'd be set up to do it (Std Colorado 7 and 17.56 Touring with underslung axles, might be a bit iffy getting on and off a barge and a bit heavier than your 14.44 I would think.

Seen a few bigger rigs go over there but you would want the tides to be right to keep off the inland track. Short run to the barge at Innskip ATM, a lot of the spit has washed away but beaches still wide and flat.

So I can warm myself with the soft glow of the fire from under the bonnet whilst I'm stuck :D

Damn, Jeep are getting flash nowadays, airbag suspension and now a barbie under the bonnet, just what will they think of next........better paddles than the Toyota's I hope, they seem to always fail going by the number that sink here at Rainbow Beach.

Hi Robbo

I'm looking at buy same van as yours. How does it tow along the beach behind the prado, is it diesel or petrol? I will be using a diesel Prado as the tow vehicle also?

Thank Bruiser
