Hamish,

Well done mate, looks like all the planning and mods are all working out for you and the family, hopefully this is first of many great trips and adventures. DHS in Sydney make a great little compact folding chair for our ambulances, if you were leaving the big chair outside you might want to invest in one to help moves day or night, and it is small enough to store under a folding bed/bunk.

Cheers

Hamish,
You forgot to mention the 4 hours you made us stand out the front waiting for your girlfriend (possum) to come down out of the tree and eat your pink lady (apple). That's where the majority of cold ones were consumed

Finally

My understorage box or (TheGranoBox) has been built and installed.
1200x700x200mm, made with ply, gal brackets and S/S bolts, coated with pond coat for waterproof sealing!
Rather happy with it, just need to install the locks.

Next up is to complete bedfly for the front bed, already have the idea spinning and I'm glad the daughter can sew!

Finally got around to putting some 12v power at the end of the bottom bunk bed for the tv etc!
Tapped into the exterior 12v socket through the cupboard and run some cable to a poly box which I mounted a dual 12v outlet to!
Decided to put a switch and put a fuse in!
It mounted pretty neat at the back of the van at the end of the bunk!

Good work there Hamish. Wow very impressed that jayco built a van to your family and sons needs. Totally awesome and now some fun time ahead.
