The Expanda Sports got a weekend away!

Spent the Weekend with forum member Woodduck with his 16.49.1 OB at Halifax Park Port Stephens!

Great weather, great weekend and the young bloke got to try out that rear door!

Everything worked fine, nothing broke and spent some time with Woodduck over quite a few cold ones to work out what additions would be suitable (only after a final consultaion with the Boss)!

Ideas tossed about so far when funds permit:

keeping rollout awning with privacy sceens only!
Rear Awning + annexe walls
Holiday Annexe bed fly
Understorage for ramps

Quite happy with the rest of it

cheers!

Glad it all worked out for you and the family @hamish22 :D

Ramp looks fantastic, so happy for your son and the freedom this awesome set up will allow him into the future.

Additions sound fantastic also.

Thanks always Mr & Mrs Expanda!:)

@Bonners re TV Reception: Was really good after a few adjustments but had to chase it once or twice each day.

One thing I did notice though was that the Sphere tv that came with van picked up reception better than our original TV we have always had with our vans!

Thanks for the update and pics. Glad it's all working so well.
I just hope it also inspires others.
Some great ideas for mods there as well (which I'm sure the boss will eventually agree are essential).

Thanks for the great feedback.

Forgot to mention only downside was when wheelchair was inside with bunks down it made it hard to access fridge which is why we have decided to go with an extra awning and walls on rear as we can then just camp w/chair at bottom of ramps at night on longer stays!

Although on the last night when daughter had left and there was only 3 of us using top bunk only and folding bottom bunk up there was enough room to play footy!

Fantastic  Love the pics. Ordered our Sport just over 3 months ago now and can't wait for it's arrival.
