This is a little gem of a park of you're just looking for somewhere quiet, to unwind. There is plenty of history around the town, military and historic.
Park is well maintained, dog friendly. Has Sevens Creek running through the middle of it which you can swim in.
Most sites are large. Some with slabs for annex, some with full slabs, others just grass. The creek front sites are the best in our opinion.
Pub with a fantastic beer garden within walking/visual distance. Short 10-15 minute walk into town. Plenty of walking tracks around the area.
Have stayed here twice now as it's only 80 minutes from home. Extended family joined up this month and loved it also.
