Was looking at places for Easter (Yes its late)....

Smack dam, $123 A NIGHT for a patch of dirt!!!!

Might be time to move on...

For $200 I get a resort hotel room with buffet breakfast for 4 people......

But its not just easter these days its pretty much all school holidays.

I just wonder where its going to end if its $123 a night this year what will it be next year?

Supply vs demand. But for me its better to pay for the accommodation for 4 nights and let the kids run around in a van park than 4 days destroying our house!
I think it was around $90/night at Narrabeen Lakeside for this Easter.

Our Christmas booking is $80 a night and I thought that was bad enough - I'd rather sleep under a bridge than pay $123 a night

Try Xmas at some places, we were quoted over $1000 for 7 nights at a couple of places.

We're paying $100 a night for 4 nights at the Big4 in Lakes Entrance over the Easter break. 2A/3C.
This is after our Big4 discount too!!..

@barney120 I think your going where we're going. We are on an ensuite site for the week after Easter though. Couldn't get in over Easter so had to go to Noosa.
