Don't you have the wireless lighting .... that would be pretty easy to add to wouldn't it. The GPOs are a plug and play setup by CMS Electracom in Dandenong, just add an adapter to a nearby GPO and plug in a prewired of the shelf lead and plug it it to the new point ... very cool system
End on an era in the House of Crusty ... Foxtel satellite has been cancelled, and replaced with the FREE VAST satellite decoder service for the van. The Foxtel was originally only a convenient way of getting free to air channels for news etc whilst we are away in the van. The Cruskette watches the cartoons, but we have found more and more the crap offered up on Foxtel isnt of much interest to us and FTA is all we really watch anyway. VAST will be good enough to get the news etc and provide a wet day avenue to avoid going stir crazy.
The only thing will probably miss is the extensive Foxtel weather channel ..... but I can look out the window I suppose
A bonus of the VAST decoder is its 12v out of the box, unlike Foxtel which although is 12v, the plug from the 240v adapter is unique to the Foxtel box so you cant use 12v direct

Like the fridge fan you missed out on the boot light mine is a long tube light led of course its very good dosnt get in way at all mite take a pic to show you how good it is

We have both in our van the roof mounted dish has 2 cables one to Foxtel and one to the vast box .
The vast box thinks we are in qld at the moment
Well thats a given !!!!!!! most of Victoria is up here......................................the rest have moved to Canberra......I have tuned my old fashioned Winegard to perfection, no signal then Free TV isn't really worth the effort so plug in the HDD of movies......( I would really like a Vast Box, dish and all the gear but need new rubber first, then maybe a new fishing rod. )

Plans had to change only did a quick sweep thru Vic visit a couple of rellies and dash off again to pick up new awning which ended up being late anyway, even had a genuine Nissan Cap to dispose of to @Crusty181 but will catch up eventually.
Ill add that cap to the Holy Shrine of Nissan merchandise ... right along side the stubby holder

Ive invented these things as part of my multi point van security armament. I figure the more small things i can do, the more inconvenience i create and the more likely that crooks will leave my van alone ..... and focus on someone elses
Theyre certainly more effective on slopping sites, but they will work to some degree everywhere.
More often than not, a site will slope in one direction or another. The site we're currently on slopes down toward the back, and the front of the van (and hitch) is only 200mm off the ground.
Locking the "Crusty Drop Leg Super Dooper World Famous Lock System" onto the rear drop leg winder, evil turds cant lift the hitch onto a car, because the stablising legs cant be wound up. If the site slopes to the front, they attach to the front winders stopping the hitch from being lowered onto a car
Ill also remove my jockey wheel and use a car stand in its place ...
