I spoke to the guys who did the wheel and they said there will be minimal addition to the ball weight with the box on the front. Car can take upto 300kg and it will come no where near that. All good.

love the box on the front, is your drawbar extended length? Is the box just a top opener turned on its side with the gas bottles holders welded on? What size is the box? sorry about so many questions but about to put one on my van and I must of printed everyone elses ideas on this site over the last 6 months trying to make my mind up which way to go. To many people out there with good ideas,
. Barney

Standard drawbar. This is custom made from scratch and reinforced ends for the gas bottles. 2.5mm checker plate. Box dimensions are 1200 L x 450 D x 500 H with the 2 gas bottle holders on the ends for 9 kg gas bottles. No worries about all the questions. I did the same thing and wanted a box that I could still use while the bed is down. Good luck.

I really like the front opening box, a very nice solution as I know for one, I'd be one of the doofus' who'd drop the bed down set it up and then realised I hadn't got the hoses and BBQ out of the box! :)

Well alots been going on in the @CrazyMOBB world. Did a 10k trip for 7 weeks around Easter time and the van performed brilliantly. The tug went well but with plans in the future to upgrade the van it's time to upgrade it. Ordered a new 200 series yesterday and will be here in just over a month. Can't wait to have a new car.

I almost empty my "box" of everything, then setup
front bed is the last to be setup, so anything not needed or required, goes back in the box..........

but I have setup the front bed twice, forgetting about things needed, hence the emptying
