After much messing around, cleaning the expanda, doing some repairs that I had been putting off, we have decided to keep the Expanda, not really ready to buy another van and would be settling for something if we change now.

Finally got around to installing an LED strip light to the awning barrel, went slightly fancy and got one that changes colour and fades in and out.
Long time since I've done any mods to the old girl, but since we have completed nearly 50,000kms it was time to put some new shoes on, particularly since the old ones were scrubbed and I spiked one on the way to Qld. Decided to go with the Maxxis 980 Bravo AT. It is more aggressive than the original tyres but I wanted a slightly less road biased tread without going full mud.
Another mod completed. Have been having trouble getting the Hyland coupling to release from the ball. Have invested in a McHitch Quick Hitch, will report how it goes once I have given it a try.
Have used the McHitch a couple of times now, it is a one person job to hook up and unhook now, no need to have some one guide me. Unhooked easily on the odd angle that is our driveway, no more binding up
We are thinking of putting the expanda on the market, getting close to time for a van for just the 2 of us. Please pm me if you may be interested.

What you going to buy , we have a silverline 2014 absolutely love it, not sure if I’m too impressed with the later models in the last couple of years
Not sure yet , will see what is around when the expanda sells. We do like the 2014/15 starcraft 20ft. Will still be an outback, also like a couple of other brands.
