Just Browsing Cost effective Interstate Transport??

Hi All,
New to the site and New Expanda Owner.

Have just purchased a 2013 OB 16.49.4 and Family is very excited.
Upgrading from Camper trailer- so life will be much easier.
Now need to get it up from Echuca on the Vic border to Gold Coast.

Does anyone have any transport options they have used which are cost effective??
Or maybe we'll be doing a road trip in September holidays which isn't such a bad option..

Welcome to the forum Trekkadog. Why not make it a road trip? You'll save heaps and a great way to get started. There's lot's to see along the way. I'm sure others will chime in with suggestions. Echuca is a great place to spend a few days before you start the return journey.

I would pick it up have a last look over before you give the $'s
Be a two day drive home if you want to do it quickly, we have done melb-southport two days
Or a week or so over holidays and enjoy the new van

Another for the road trip idea. That's what we did when we bought our van from Coffs Harbour.

yep nothing better than the van doing what its supposed to do and be behind your tow vehicle and then sleeping in it

I'm all for the road trip!!! We did it in December last year. Ordered our van and drove from Perth to Melbourne to pick it up, then drove it back to Perth via Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne, and a lot of places in between. Was a great trip, and I'd do it again in a heart beat.
