Thats very neat, I would glue a sheet of aluminium over the front of the tank especially to protect that sight tube as the stuff gets some age a rock may cause grief.

Now that's a thought, have seen a few with guards around them, thinking of chequer plate to match.
Have stone guard for van on order so will sit behind that anyway

Well! Where does that time go, it's just over 12 mths now since the beast arrived.
It's and great van only had a few issues however I have to say it's the worst van I had for stability towing wise, have sorted most of it but still have to be careful
There is to much non movable built in weight behind the axle and the tare ball weight is way to light, even loaded its a tad on the light side for the atm.

I'm smerking while typing, but those sorts of issues will be a thing of the past now with the new Road Vehicle Standards legislation introduced on Jul 1st that puts a well overdue halt to the caravan industry's ludicrous self-regulation.

I personally suspect it will just turn out to be a cloak of protection for the industry to hide behind and to throw into the face of consumers .... hey, call me a skeptic.

My 3.2t Expanda came with a 140kg ball weight. That worked very much in our favour because I added a huge tool box to the drawbar, and that chockas full of camping crap puts the ball weight upto a healthy 290kgs
