There is a bit of weight in that canopy which I am going to replace with an alloy one soon.

Just wondering how you got the cables through the firewall? I have located the grommets on the far left and right of the firewall that the factory wires run through but they seem extremely inaccessible. Thoughts?

if you have an automatic you could do what i did in this post not much use if you have a manual though, most seem to use the passenger side grommet

I ran mine thru the floor grommet on the passenger side, so much easier. @willo_101
