We leave home 16th June travelling up through Longreach, Winton, Mt ISA, QLD, then across to Tennant Creek, before heading south to Alice. When finished back tracking to Darwin. Not sure of time frames but thinking around early to mid July to be in Darwin.

We should be a way in front of you. Darwin Late June and then head over to the west.

I am also leaving home around the 20th June. Looks there will be a few of us out there. Will be at wilpina around the first week of July, then up the centre and around the west. I will keep an eye out. I am a silver Pathy 550 with a 17-56-1

We will be heading West from Darwin as well, will be interested watching those in front of us where you stayed and your thoughts... I will be relying on the WIKI camps APP as well for updated info. Its such a great APP and easy to use. Also have Camps 7 to look at too.

Were on our way too. Depart (approx 0700) 10th June Adelaide - Birdsville - Longreach - Winton - Cairns - Cape York - and bloody Falls Creek to finish in the snow in mid september. Bugger me, will certainly stamp our carbon footprint in a Patrol (white) and 17.56.1.

What your 550 like on fuel. Mines great when not towing but not real flash (compared to my GU4) when towing.
