I am with Fishinglizard on this one. Way back BW and BC when I drove a Nissan G60 with skinny tyres, my cooking gear was two house bricks and the wire tray from an oven. I had a non stick fry pan, a non stick sauce pan and a billy with a spout. That was it. My fridge was an esky with a bag of ice. And I lived like a king. I camped where I wanted, when I wanted, for as long as I wanted.
Then I got married.
Then we added three kids.
Then we purchased a Jayco Swift.
Must be getting soft in the head.

Totally agree! the defining moment for me was when I had realised I had just bought an $1100 Generator and an $1100 Engel to keep a $30 Block/ Slab/ Carton of Beer cold (see that I speak all languages of beer storage)
