Has anyone used or had experience with these 45 amp connectors? Because they are black and red and can be joined, they can be set up to prevent mis-connection and at 45 amps they will carry more than enough current for anything from car to van.

I have seen these used but I didn't think they were 45 amps? They are an Anderson design.
Edit yeah they do a 45amp pin now. Amperage depends on the pin it seems.

You're right Jimmy, they start with a 15 amp and go up from there. The first one I found was only offering a 30 amp connector which would have been adequate but were dearer than the 45 amp so it was a no brainer which way I went.l
