Good morning all! Do we use an amphibian at caravan parks? We did when we had the swan but not really sure if we needed too!

Short answer would be no. The park power should be ready for a 15amp plug and have an RCD. I guess the only reason to use it would be if you wanted the added protection of your Ampfibian's RCD as well.

We only use ours when we have no access to 15 amp power points. Van parks should all have 15 amp with RCD's as standard these days i would think.

We don't have an Amphibian, an haven't come unstuck yet at any parks we have stayed at. Like the other guys have said parks should have 15amp outlets.RCD in the park outlet + RCD in the van has you covered. I put a 15amp outlet in at home as well.
If we ever come unstuck and need a 10amp, we will go off power, only need mains power for Aircon and microwave. Can get by without that.

We have one, but have never used it. Kind of feel like I wasted my money. In saying that some old show grounds are not geared up with 15A outlets. They are good also on farm stays or visiting friends. Depends what your plans are really.
