Well I would cross on my usual roads, not highways but back roads as they always have great spots to camp, handy Pubs (which by the way always have a back door) .................. other than racing for home why try for a holiday, only the basics open, even van parks are running on minimum it seems and if you get crook you could be in limbo.
Stay at home, put the for sale sign up after its all done so you can get out of the burbs........... .

Yes we where of both weeks of holidays RACV Inverloch then Anchor Belle Phillip Island. I assume cancel now.
Pretty don't be rude some idiots ruined it for everyone else.
Be great if those who where asked to Self Isolate just did so. Although should have closed things up a lot earlier.
Not like you cannot look elsewhere and see how &(&(*&( it is.

Maybe instead of letting people off cruise ships where they pinky promise they are not sick.
They stay in a hotel room and not go out we promise :(
They could off handled things better.
Look at Bondi last week wonder how many tourists on 2 weeks holidays just stayed in their rooms.

Maybe ads with this guy about spreading disease at the greatest ease would help.

I was just chatting to the Princess about the complete lack of leadership, the compete absence of credible and necessary information, along with the regurgitation of repeated broad and useless dribble. I asked her a handful of basic questions, and logical follow-on questions I have, and she couldn't answer a single one. That's not a reflection of her, it's the widespread failure to provide vital detail, leadership and guidance. Some countries have got their responses very very wrong, and are now paying with a rising body count. Other countries have contained it and all but defeated it. Why are we heading along the path known to be the less effective of the choices.

Try not to be overly political . I do not care libs or labours they all a bunch of people with too many donations that guide them.
We have a PM who got the job as he was the one who stank the least out of those who spilled Turnbull.
He won an election as he stank less then Shorten :)
He is not a great leader. We seen that when we needed him during Bushfires.

NZ gone to lock down soon with 100 odd cases. They see what is happening the rest of the world.

We have a leader who rather not do anything. A recent pic of him below.
Although you can see where US, UK, Italy, Germany and everywhere else has done vs Australia
So you do wonder does Australian Chief Medical officer knows better than the rest.
Or being a Aussie your immune to it.. We still have beds now.. once we run out we head like Italy.
Our wonderful medical staff will be working their asses off while people out to Bondi spreading it.
So many people who should of self isolated where self centred &(*&(*&(*.. now we paying for it.

Hindsight is great.
If we shut borders a few months ago and made sure people isolated we will not be as bad as now
If he took some action even now we might not get really bad.
He does not want to act,.. you see all the states premiers just going their own way now.

You do worry what do they know.. if it is only mainly elderly sick you think they lock them up and get on with it.
For the world too close down is it only going to be elderly and sick?

No word from the anti vax morons yet....

Typical isn't it, had enough to do with General Public to know that if you get them to sign a form, they won't read it or understand it, putting up a sign is no good they won't even see it, if your gong to regulate people you need to think of sheep and how you work them, doesn't matter how many letters after their name, they will ignore things............. so basically they are untrustworthy, they lie......

Beautiful Burrum Heads QLD
I’m over hearing about queen Jacinta in NZ, one government under 5 million people here we have 25 million people and an economy that actually works but the big difference is we have various states and territories who are responsible for health and bush fires. If it wasn’t for absolutely stupid Australian people and tourists we wouldn’t be having the same conversation but no one seems to take this seriously so the government has to treat the d!ckheads like babies to get them to help them selves

So the vaccine will eventually be made and distributed, it will be interesting to see how many of these rabid anti-vaxxers refuse, stupid morons..... Comparing Australia to NZ or Europe is just fantasy...... stupidity of the people though possibly not.

All QLD state controlled campgrounds will be closed as of Thursday 26th March.....http://statements.qld.gov.au/Statement/2020/3/25/campgrounds-close-in-response-to-covid19-outbreak

Campgrounds close in response to COVID-19 outbreak
The Palaszczuk Government today announced the closure of all campgrounds in national parks, state forests and state managed recreation and protected areas, in response to the COVID-19 (corona virus) outbreak.
Minister for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef Leeanne Enoch said this decision is consistent with the expert medical advice of the state’s Chief Health Officer, with closures coming into effect from tomorrow.
“As the Easter school break approaches, closure of the campgrounds will help protect the health and safety of campers, the wider community as well as Queensland Park and Wildlife Service (QPWS) rangers and staff,” Minister Enoch said.
“The Premier has been very clear that Queenslanders should cancel their Easter break plans and stay close to home.
“The nature of the shared facilities in campgrounds, like toilets and showers, is a significant concern in the current circumstances.
“There are around 470 camping areas in Queensland’s parks and forests and QPWS rangers will immediately be contacting members of the public who are currently at camp sites, and those who have booked a site.
"This includes camping areas at K’gari (Fraser Island), Inskip Point, Cooloola Coast, Moreton Bay Islands, and all other national parks and forests across the state where camping is permitted. National parks in Cape York are already closed to the public.”
Day-use areas, tracks and trails will remain open at this stage and social distancing rules will still apply.
The closure of camping grounds does not include residential caravan parks.
Increased signage will be placed in high visitation areas throughout the State to keep the public informed of closures.
“The health of the community is our number one priority and minimising the spread of corona virus is imperative.” Minister Enoch said.
People who have camp sites booked will receive a full refund for unused camping permits.
