Look's good Albo. our vin is 7 after yours so they probably came down the line together. Ours came in a little bit lighter than yours, 1460kg's with a ball weight of 144kg's.

You'll love it 04D. We had a couple of extras like the hot water, twin gas and water tanks, roof top air, etc that all add up I guess.

I'd been sweating on the ball weight figure becuase I thought my vehicle had a 150kg ball limit. Then I found in the owners manual it says it can go to 250kg as long as the weight inside the vehicle isn't within 100kg of its gvm - ie. as long as the missus and kids don't get too fat, I'm right (special exemption applies to driver)! Even though we've got the girly Landrover, with 420 nm of torque it tows it effortlessly and sits perfectly straight, so I'm stoked on the score too.

We love it already and haven't even done a trip! Couldn't get the kids out of it yesterday - or the missus for that matter.

We didn't get an external shower fitted but bought a coleman portable hot water heater from the brisbane caravan show which comes with a shower attachment so will just buy one of those fold up shower tents, the system can run off the small gas bottle or from the bayonet fitted on the van.Only 4 sleeps left to get ours.

Gotta take the van back to the dealer to get a new plate - they only gave me 300kg on top of tare instead of the 375kg I had been expecting with the shower/twin tanks/bottles.

Hi Albo

I read with interest your comment about getting Jayco to change the allowable load from 300kg to 375kg on your compliance plate. Did they do it, the reason for my question is that we get our 18.57-6 shortly and our plate only has 300kg allowable load.

Cheers

Richard

I had the same thing happen to me when I picked my van up, and Jayco were more than happy to fit the new compliance plate.

I thought the dual axle vans came with 400kg standard & upgrade to 475kg for the ensuite models or upon request.

Sorry Richard, haven't been on the site for a while. They would have replaced the plate, but to be honest I never got around to it and now a year later I've probably left it too late! Not that fussed now ...
