Keep your eye on your door handle. This is 3 years old and could have been a disaster.
It felt a little funny but still worked. I have no idea how it broke on that angle as that would be pushing it down not pulling it up.
At least i have a good idea of how it all works now and am only $26 poorer. Also the new one is meant to be reinforced, Didnt look any different to the old one.
