16' Series 2006 Outback Suspension

Hi All,
hoping someone may be able to advise. We are just about to purchase a 2006 outback. However, when comparing it to other outback vans listed, it has a lot more ground clearance (possibly 100mm). Can someone please advise of the correct axle/ leaf spring configuration, axle over spring or axle under spring for this single axle van.
The owner told us that the van had a tendency to wander so he renewed the shocks and tyres in an attempt to rectify. Could this be due to the additional height?

We had our outback under slung which gave us the extra 100mm in height but it traveled fine

Not totally sure but from memory i think 06 models were infact factory under slung on Outbacks, I know the campers were.
They changed the axle arrangement on later single axle model Expandas to over slung, but used a off set axle to give to same height.
I quiried this when our 2010 model turned up and to my surprise wasnt underslung.
All dual axle models remained underslung. Till the new J-Tec suspension was added this year
