Another tip is to try and protect the sharp corners such as on solar panels etc.

We ripped a hole in the cover on a metal edge. Just purchased some corner protectors (the kiddy safe ones from Bunnings) and will be sticking them on all the sharp corners to try and prevent the new cover getting shredded.

Good point on the Solar panels, something i never did on the Panda,
Though panel wont be a problem with the new one, its flush mount on the roof.

I know I have enought kids to stand on the vans roof and help get a cover on, but does anyone know the weight limit? ( I know I won't be able to get just 1 up on the roof, it will have to be all 4.)
