Matt were you on dead motherless flat ground? The jtech not being load sharing slightest rise under a wheel and it will punch your ball wieght out? Mine loaded with some water in the rear hatch area full tanks the gen and weber is less than 200kg! The tanks don't add directly to the ball ie 50 kg of water does not ad 50kg to ball more like 25kg iirc, which you probably already know?

You are spot on Jim and I hadn't thought about that it was slightly down hill. That would explain a bit.Tanks had caps off but was dripping a little out still so wouldn't have had much in it.

Congrats @17triton! Really nice van. I'm wishing I went for the hatch under the bunk beds too now. I notice they offset the rear window in the pop top skirt which looks neater. Ours zips into the toilet/shower. Enjoy

I'd be interested to know that as well as that was one thing I specifically specified on the contract and was told at the show by someone pretty far up the Jayco chain that the arms for awning should not cover the door and stop it from opening.

Righto started on the trifold table today. I have made it narrower and as you can see it is filled with foam. I am going to dig out a little bit of foam and glue some hardwood for the hinge screws to bight into. Stay tuned.
