Nice work, raised back - good for more sicaflex and you will able to screw back without making holes if front.

I painted mine with SLS Etch primer then top coat white, both spray cans from buntings. I use same brands to prevent issues.

Just measure the fit up with a bit of thought , don't want it to low or it will hit the van bottom edge when dropping bed end.

All good so far, looks great. any questions feel free to ask, but pretty easy really.
