Watsons at Coffs does some great deals and has some very nice gear...

Our TV stays in it's swing rack and when mobile we have some styro blocks moulded to fit between the bottom corners and the bench with a oky strap across the front holding against the wall (padded behind tele) hasn't broken or moved around and done some horrible corrugations out around Aramac.
10 cent piece holds the fridge latch closed also.

Just a question on the fridge fans, and I do like the setup, but doesn't it now mean if the fridge is on, the fans have to be running as any natural airflow is now effectively blocked?

Cheers

If for some reason the fans stop running, the fans still leave quite a lot of space between each blade etc to let natural airflow/heat out it definitely wouldn't be 'blocked'. They are wired to run whenever the fridge is on, no matter what source is being used for cooling 12/240/gas.

I have my fans wired to come on when the tubes reach 70c deg. Air flow isn't restricted though when stopped.

Spare relocation complete, all design royalties to @achjimmy :) 20160226_104008.jpeg

Best part is the space it leaves at the front where the spare was. Fit a nice basket in there then a tool box on top.

Nice mod. Where did you get the winder mechanism with all the knuckle joins.
