Does look good, I'd like to see the mounting system, this can be very important on bullbars. If they shake lose, you can really scrub the front tyres.

Well the top one is tjm not arb, I have the tjm one on my pre face lift 150 and love it but I also saw the afn ones the other day and love it and that is the way I would be going, as far as safety goes it will meet all au standards so just check out and compare mounting systems and then wack it on. But their underbody protection is a bit exy.

I'm with some of the others on this thread, I'm a bit of a fan of ARB as well.....

but a shame ARB cover up the LED's....reckon they will have to redesign for the new Prado, covering up the LED's will drive people to TJM.

As for the AFN Bar @The Goodwins , looks a bit to aggressive for my liking (agree with @DRW), but I do like the way its been really designed to mould to the Prado lines. Would need to see one in the flesh before I would put one on, but would probably stick with Aust made.

When I was talking to ARB about getting my new bar, they made a point of telling me that it's an ADR requirement to maintain a certain % of the plastic bar. When you look at the australian bars TJM, ARB etc they all keep the top of the original plastic bar, so maybe there was some truth in what he was telling me.
The AFN bar looks to completely replace all of the front end plastic, so it may not be compliant.

Hang on hang on! 155? You will have to forgive me; I've spent the last few months in a blurred whirlwind of shitstorms lol but 155? What's the go? My Toyota man told me there were no new features coming any time soon.. hence I bought my 150 a couple of months ago.. so.. hit me with it?

Still 150 @blacky, this is the Prado refresh that occurred in November 2013, the 155 tag is the number given for the previous models 3 door Prado, not sure it exists in this model, think it has been dropped. I don't believe there are new models planned for this year, there is some talk some movement after the Hilux gets updated this year or next....
I will be hanging out for new models in the next year or so and crossing my fingers for a towing rating upgrade to 3t.

Thank god haha I was going on a witch hunt down at my local Toyota dealer!

I did hear rumours a few weeks back about a V6 diesel in R&D stages to be put into Prado and hilux... along with towing upgrade... that got me a little excited :)
