I have to say I'm feeling somewhat inadequate, having seen some of the great setup's here....
This is our 2013 Prado Altitude; all the gear from the GXL, plus better stereo/more speakers, sunroof, rear camera, leather, rear entertainment... Shown here (at Bathurst) with our Swan OB that will be replaced in 1 WEEK (yes, am counting) with a 17.56-2 OB.

Recent Trip North - Parked outside Maccas Mackay for our traditional Breakfast stop on the way to Airlie and then Cairns.

New here and have come across from a 4WD background. Have been towing my 2.5t boat the past 6 years and now bought the caravan so keen to get her ready for free camping and more dirt orientated places. But will be easing the wife in first, bit by bit.
Anyhow my tow rig is a 2010 GU (Y61) Patrol Wagon TI with the 4.8 litre TB48 engine. Sucks juice like you wouldn’t believe but I am a Patrol nut, had a ZD30 for 5 years before this and wanted power and reliability.

3” Suspension Lift all Dobinsons with 4” shocks
33”s around town, 35”s for play (only change when I have a number of fun trips to do etc)
ARB rear bar, to prevent the rear door crack mainly, has killed one tree all ready
Front steel bar and winch
Rear long Range Tank, still have to install a front as the TB didn’t come with it and I haven’t had time to retro fit one yet, have all the stuff, time poor

I've added the Factory Ally bar to the front since this Pic
my Beastie - 1999 GU 4.2Turbo Intercooled Gas injected with a list of mods 5 miles long
Clear View Mirrors, LR Aux Tank, 2" lift, Firestone Air Bags, cargo barrier, custom rear draws, Polaris reversing camera, DVD head rests, 2nd Glove box, MT ATZ's, winch, front Autolocker, wiring in back for 2 Engels and 500W Inverter, roof rack, Pass side awning, HID Super Oscar spot lights,etc, etc.......
Boost/EGT/cabin Temp, oil/water/ engine bay temp, and dual batteries/Amp gauge, all Autron gauges and the gauges are in 3 pillar pod
the gauges are triple gauge in one

oh yeah baby........ I blew the clutch in the GU last year on our way to Exmouth - I think I may have posted about it - anyway, had to limp home from Gerro and grab the Bosses car - lovely drive, all leather interior. ahhhhhhh cruise control.... ahhhhh
fuel for trip - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, was $200.00 every time we stopped, so yeah, lovely to drive - but thirsty as....
