Took the PK down to the local Fraud dealer on friday to find out what it was worth and they had an PX XLT Auto dual cab in the yard so with a bit of wheeling & dealing and after telling them I wasn't taking a penny less than 25K for the old one, I think I've bought a new Ranger, well haven't signed anything yet but I'm feeling confident I will ...now how do I tell the Missus

I hope it's better than my lemon. Nothing bit troubles. Ive had the computer reflashed twice. Constant flat battery which was finally replaced after i drove to the dealer and demanded it be replaced. Airconditioning fixed twice due to being noisy. Going in again to get it fixed for the third time. Fuel economy is terrible average around 14.5L per 100. I think I just got a dud! Cant wait for the lease to end.

I have had a few issues with my PK big one being the transmission is without a doubt the biggest bucket of snot ever fitted in a motor car! Not to mention the fuel economy of a Top fuel Drag car! But I have a couple of Mates with PX's who are very happy with theirs so upgrade it is ! All good @cruza driver and @chartrock I was just trying to be funny she was privy from the get go the dual zone Aircon won her over!!

I'm imagining I'll pick it up next week papers are being signed shortly
No Gadgets planned yet other than dual batteries and roof bars to put the ladders on then I'm sure it will snowball from there
Had to she has to sign as we are partners in the business

So what would be different to the battery set up on the BT50, seeing the cars are so close?

When researching dual battery set ups for my BT50 I read (on forums) that Ranger owners were having all sorts of probs with trying to add any sort of electrical accessories. My understanding is that it is a different system to the BT, which is, as we all know,

We are very happy with our new 3.2ltr 6 speed Ford Ranger. We were after a car that was best for towing. We got it home from car yard and the next day with 125 k's on speedo it started towing the horse float. Since then it hasn't stopped towing floats /caravans. It just loves it. 024.JPG ford ranger.JPG

What are the differences in the engines in them?

Some I have seen with 2.2 motors and some with 3.2 motors?
