Knock out a 100 or so dole bludging wanna be hippie squeezers. Possibly also help to square up some stress and frustration. Dont worry, 100 wont even put a dent in thier numbers. Cant even watch them get eaten by the sharks, because they dont go near the water (including showers)Any tips or things to do whilst in Byron Bay?
Like @Drover says, Byron used to be a great place. Now it's hard to find a parking spot and when you do the meter charges put Sydney and Brisbane to shame. Some nice places to see and the weekend markets aren't too bad either. Our last trip there it took over and hour from the highway to the town because council decide to trim the pine trees on the road in, closing it for 10 minutes at a time then let 20 0r 30 cars past each way. That was my last visit to Byron.![]()
Us old blokes don’t have time time to waste sitting in traffic jams.If time is not your enemy give it a go, Byron is very senic and you can walk to Australia's most eastern point at the light house, Im sure you can find somewhere just outside of town to grop the van for a couple of hours (these old blokes here have no patience) )-:
