Just ran the ac over the weekend at Philip Island and the Yamaha did not miss a beat

Was at the Illawarra camping show on the weekend and interesting sign up at the Honda generator tent. They promise that the Honda gennie will run any and ALL caravan ACs or 100% money back. Only catch was that you must use their custom 4m 20amp cable

Im presuming thats the 2.0kW .... because the 3.0kW would be a no brainer. Was there any overiding fine print about the smart trottle etc

Interesting about the lead, might make myself up a short 20amp lead just for the genset. Honda have clearly set their hopes on the quality of that lead; good enough for Honda, good enough for Kipor

Didnt see any fine print. It was for the 2kw. It was not necessarily honda, more the reseller. Probably sick of answering questions like 'ive read on an Internet forum that the Honda wont.....' lol
