Leaving the rat race tomorrow.
Wifey found a spot up on the central coast NSW at Budgewio Holiday Park. Good price for over the new year $74pn.
Been looking for awhile but most parks were full so we jumped at it.
The only down side I can see is that the park has NO swimming pool and only 4 Amenities in the whole park.
That should matter as we have we're taking all our surf crafts.

Cant wait just to get away Ill share my views when i get back or throughout the stay.

Happy New Year everyone hoping you all had a great time.

Not long got back home from our short trip to Budgewoi Holiday Park. Location was excellent right on the lake and a short 5-10min walk to the beach. Kids always love getting away and that's what counts the most.
Weather was fantastic for the whole time away. Fishing was good caught heaps, kept none.
About the park........hmmm where to start it's last on my list to return.
It's a huge park so you'll be able to get a spot at short notice or just drop in, it allows dogs which is rare these days but I disliked because of poor owners that do not picking up after their dogs. So always walk on the road and some times all you can smell is..........crap.
Another thing that was poor was the amenities. The side that we where on had 2, one out of order and for the last 2 days the main amenities block has NO hot water. Cleaning of the main amenities block need to be done twice a day due to the other amenities not working. Come morning and throughout the day we used the amenities next door at the local park.
E.G - son went to shower and it had a number 2 in it. WTF!!
This is the first time that we've been unhappy with a park.

A little and very slow update.
We have garage walls done not the besser block retaining wall as first planned. They ended up using a new wall called DINCEL.
Clicks together then concrete filled.
They have back filled behind the garage wall and next should be plumbing followed by the remaining 3 concrete slabs.

Block work at the top floors.

@Drover yes garage walls are huge. The garage is custom so I can drive the van in, cost me heaps but well worth it. Over all the garage space is 80m2.
Yes heaps of back fill because they had over excavated in some area leaving a larger gap.
Still have 3 more floors that need concrete slabs, will post pics when done.

On Tuesday I drop my Van off for a service and fix a few things and some stuff i want done/changed.

Cant fault the service really good and had it all completed on Wed arvo.

A run down on cost
1 Service $300
2 Parts almost $70
3 Labour (what for it) $550
Total
$1000 including GST.

I wasn't expecting it to be that much, I was thinking around maybe $500-$600
Anyway the jobs done plus it needed a service. Happy camper now that the van done and safer on the roads.

Next trip Umina in 3 weeks.

Been super busy even working on the house myself.
Today I had to run plumbing for the pool for my pool guy and before the concrete goes in. The plumbing will run through the slab.

Here is a pic of the garage ceiling height gives a good picture now.

There is a railing all way around now they built it yesterday.
Getting there slowly very slowly. We started in NOV last year most houses now would have frames and roof maybe even walls done.
It's killing me Hurry UP!!

With a recent trip a few weeks ago to Lake Conjola Big4 it was a great time arriving mid week and returning home Sunday. We were the only people there until late Thursday arvo.
First winter camping we've done and man it was bloody cold. With that wind coming straight off the water I had to but the annex up for some shelter but lucky you're aloud to have fires as long as they are contained and off the ground.
Heaps of wildlife and very content with us humans and well help them selves. Birds and Kangaroo's
