It's been nine days since the expanda was last hooked up , I keep walking out the house getting in the van wishing I was somewhere else , anyone else suffer this crippling disease ? stupid work , stupid mortgage!!

Yep it gets into your blood. Wasn't the same with the lift-up/wind-up campers for some reason. We've been at/in ours everyday since last trip and can't wait until Melbourne Cup long weekend. Still finding mini mods to do.

I start to get that feeling halfway through the trip! A couple of years ago I went I got so depressed after coming back from January camping that it took me about 1 month to recover!

I so hate that, as I spend a lot of time on the road I see heaps of vans, and regularly think Pr***k hwell:

Comming home from our recent trip we drove down our street and both thought WHAT THE HELL or we doing here.

I have the bonus of finishing early Fridays so it not uncommon the hitch and nick off for the weekend though haven't done it for a while, even better if I can scam a Friday off.

That's what we try to do Bushman, have a Friday off once a month, leave Thursday arvo, stay 3 nights and a late checkout Sunday. Ok if you don't travel too far.

We go to a park on South Coast that does weekend package that includes the late checkout up till 4pm.
