So here we are enjoying glenelg and Adelaide shores!! And the wind comes I wish it would go away.... My annexe is copping a flogging and cannot pack it up as we need it.

This is Melbourne weather... Last time we were here it was hot and no wind. Bit at least we are still away. I have added some photos

We are in Port Augusta and it is blowing its backside off. Can't leave anything outside the van or I have to go searching for it in the river!

We had the worst night we have ever had in a van last night thanks to the wind here in Warrnambool! It blew an absolute gale slamming straight into the side of the annexe and bed ends. Not much sleep, lucky we're on holidays I think an arvo nap might be on the cards.

Hi 17triton,
We live in warrnambool and left on holidays to escape the weather. We are in victor harbour SA and as the others have stated dont feel to bad as the wind over here yesterday would have blown a dog of the chain!!!!!

Got to agree, the wind here in Adelaide has been ridiculous, it's just like our crappy windy spring weather still. We were at the speedway last night and we couldn't keep a can of drink sitting on the table, the wind would just blow it off. o_O

Staying at Brown hill creek now and the wind has certainly dropped off. Great little caravan park and the kiddly winks got to see a koala in the wild before I even unhitched the van. Certainly a lot cooler here than in Karratha though! Might even have to wear shoes?

Spent last weekend at Sundown NP. Windy at night but Saturday hit 47 degrees, Sunday dropped to 44 then Monday dropped again to 41. The billabong we used as a swimming hole was drying up, it had dropped about 600mm in the few days so we pulled the pin Wednesday morning and headed for the coast where it rained for 2 days. Spent a few days with @expanda and his family (although at different van parks) when the weather cleared.
