Stayed in Wilcannia many years ago and labelled it 'the worst Caravan camping site in Australia' so avoided it ever since.

Not now! A new park outside of town is brilliant. Grassy sites, brilliant camp kitchen and the best amenities I've ever come across.

Very helpful hosts and an oasis in the middle of nowhere.

Looks good I've heard a few reports on this place now,

though I reckon the photo of the River on their site was taken a while ago, because there isn't much water in the Darling down stream of Bourke.

Stayed there last year on the way to the Corner - good place - we opted for non powered spot - lots and lots of places to choose from.
