I am researching which towball weight gauge / scales to buy. Since the Basestation will vary in weight and weight distribution depending on what I load in the back, from next to nothing, to bikes, to my jetski, I guess I should know the ball weight and try to balance the weight by using the water tanks as ballast.
Repco have their own brand gauge on special, reduced from $80 to $50. Other brands that are widely available are Hayman Reese $59 plus postage; Milenco $86 plus postage and Towsafe $72 plus postage. Postage from Caravanplus is around $20.
If you have any experience of any of these brands, would be interested to hear your thoughts.

I have the towsafe brand and find it to be inconsistent with the accuracy of weight between +- 10kgs
