Where to go in new 1858-2 outback trip

Evening everyone we are picking up our new 1858-2 at the end of next month and we are looking somewhere to go for a couple of nights where the weather is a bit warmer than Geelong and with in a few hours also we are after a caravan park nice for lil kids so any ideas please

Any where on the Murray is nice this time of year, Mildura or Swan Hill even Echuca
