Got back from Monto at 5:30pm and have been packing the van for our getaway to Rainbow Beach in the morning.
I spoke to a few locals in Monto today and Cania Gorge is expecting 2000 campers! Yikes!!!
Now just checking the forum before bed, got to love ipads.

I'm camped in the carpark of the historic greenhills church on the way to wave rock for Easter

We're up at Manning Point, got here yesterday, nice and hot. Today weather has changed.......not good for solar! Have a good one all!

Got home from work after a flat out week, thought I'd catch up on whats been happening on here. Then right on cue the power went out.

We're at the National Gem & Mineral Show at the Showgrounds at Murray Bridge until Tuesday. Couple of hundred vans, motorhomes and campers. We're the only big Expanda here, and have an 11 tonne Swagman next to us. now feel like we're in a Penguin! Just going to pick up a kg of SA pawns I ordered in case you're interested. Wine and beer already cold. Happy and Safe Easter to you all.

We have a hot rod show on the coast this weekend and I have a mate and family up from Sydney with his entry. Coming for lunch today and we will go to the 'Show & Shine' on Sunday morning. Enjoy your holidays everyone.

Home for Easter, then a few days at Nagambie until I have to go to Cairns for 2 1/2 weeks (for work, so don't be too envious).

I ended up going for a motorbike ride today, its been a while with the temps here its been to hot, but today was perfect
