Yep....
The next door neighbors to the site we were on had a family with three teenagers.
On day 1 the tap was turned off. On day 2 I noticed the sullage hose was reefed out of its connecter on the van.
Later that day when they left I walked around that side of the van and found the hatch lying on the ground.
It had been reefed off its hinge.

I would say that the parents didn't even know.
I must say that I was expecting the tap trick to occur a couple more times and I would have just played along.
It does serve me right however in leaving the water hatch unlocked. It is the only hatch I generally don't lock because it jams shut with the hose connected anyway.

I don't have one anymore! Modded and gone!
Do tell more @maccayak ......
I was thinking I may be able to resurrect the hinge by drilling a hole and dropping in some pins for a new hinge. But I will need to unscrew the entire enclosure to insert the pins. And there may be nothing to secure the pins to anyway.
So what's the mod?

I got rid of mine, put the outdoor shower in the same spot and moved the water inlet. If you need one, you can have mine, its taking up space in the garage.

Thanks for that. I may just take you up on that. But seeing I have to remove the whole unit now, let me have a good look at it first. If I can manage to drop a metal pin in as the hinge then I think I may actually achieve a stronger unit.

I'd have grabbed the little @#$%^& and both the park and their parents would have known.

I'd also make a claim with my insurance with their rego #

at the very least report it to the park so they can take note of the people, not acceptable at all

about time these lame little arse kids take responsibility for there actions and don't think the world owes them everything. If my kids were to do that they would not only apologize to the people but would pay for the repairs out of there own money and be punished further when we got home

Definitely worth reporting to the Park. Did you see or catch them actually doing any of the crimes?

In any case, I'm sorry this happened to you. Not a very nice way to end a holiday.

I don't want to gross you out, or cause unnecessary worry, but would these little angels have access to your water tank filler points?
These type would possibly find it funny to don't be rude or worse in there.>:(

Thanks for the concerns guys and based on your feedback, yes probably it would have been worth reporting it to the park. But only as an FYI to put in file is my thoughts so that it is recorded if they ever come back.
@relgate no I did not see them actually doing it. I am purely basing my opinions on that first day when setting up and they arrived from wherever they were for the day. From their end they saw this massive lumbering van completely overshadowing their camper trailer. Morning sun completely gone for them. But that was the site I was given and it was just big enough for my van. So not much I could do. But it did not change the cold reception I received when they rolled up. That's the basis of why I am pegging this on them and also why I am happy to share my comments with all of you, but in reality I can't accuse someone of something formally without hard evidence.

@Soaring, thanks for that visual and whilst I feel whoever did this probably would have had a small enough appendage to insert it into the filler hole, I am going to assume that one was overlooked.
