What spare parts do you take when you travel?

Hi all,
I thought I would post this to see what parts people carry with them for their caravan / appliances and what parts they have had to replace. I would be helpful to see if there are common failures or accidental breakages.
Cheers
Nick

I carry a tub full of Jayco bits. Awning knob, water tank tee and caps, john guest joiner, hose clamps , cable ties (der) spare sink plugs, shackles, bag of crimp fittings and the useless tool, fuses, heap of hose fittings and some screws. Murphys will dictate I don't have what I need. If I could identify the wheel bearings I would carry a set.

A few John guest fittiings, some garden irrigation joiners, spare hose clear and JGuest, hose clamps, zip ties, silicon tape, electrical joiners, a spare set of wheel bearings pre greased and packed in a vacuum sealed bag, tube of silicone or similar. Matches and can spanner, small cordless drill, small grease gun for spring hangers and a set of U bolts, a box of O rings and one of self tappers.
Gaffer tape and okky straps. Bottle of emergency Bourbon and a roll of dunny paper stashed behind gas bottle.
Spare John guest hose the colour is only for ID the specs are the same so you don't need to have black, blue and red. Most important to have a couple of the sleeve bits or your JG joiner won't work, trying to get the old one off you can break it.
Probably heaps more stashed in various places.

I'm sure there's a thread on this somewhere.

I think the others have covered most of the extras carried when on a trip , added to the list is a spring pack / spring hangers / u bolts as most of out adventures are off road and away from the cities - nothing worse than being held up with a broken part of the suspension .
And yes we have broken a spring but not noticed until put over the pit at home

Years ago when things were analogue I used to carry a pair of very thick fish plates and a couple of U bolts so if I broke a spring these would sandwich it, never had to use it though thankfully.

Just don't forget the pliers to cut 'em off when you get to your destination @Bluey ;)
in the van the cutters in the cutlery draw just small ones I use the ties to hold my sons cot down in the bed end on a piece of ply works well and I use ties on the pole to hold up the stone stomper ties , gaffer tape , a hammer , shifter , some screw drivers plyers , I can fix anything ?????

A set of wheel bearings (1 side) and some grease, a few John guest fittings & some hose, u brackets, cable ties , a piece of 1/2 " threaded rod & some nuts to suit, some tek screws, a few different self tappers , some gas tape, gaffa tape, small tube of silicone, assorted fuses, a bit of 12v electrical wire and a reasonable set if tools , the further we are traveling the more tools I take . I remember stopping on the side of the road on the way into Ningaloo station and manufacturing a u bolt axel clamp for someone stuck at the side of the road from a bit of flat steel plate and some threaded rod with a cordless drill and angle grinder that I had in my kit , the elderly couple that we helped out were very grateful and my mates still rev me up about it, I think it's where the Captain Gadget moniker may have started
