West to east transport

Hi all. We are loving our expanda and Pajero sport combo so much, we would like to do the east coast this Christmas hols. We where gutted to discover we couldn’t use the train to get the van over. Any tips on west east transport?

Find somebody else to drag it over ???????? .......................... always a truck it over to Augusta, need a step deck trailer as height is the problem.

unfortunately, transport west - east and cheap are not in the same dictionary

best suggestion (but still not a good one) backpackers....................
my cousin was in Bris, and got a gig - 4 days to get a camper (Britz type) to Perth
free use of the thing, but any damage, she had to pay

We are discovering that. I was nervious about trucks, so backpackers may be a push. Plan has been modified to me driving to Adelaide. Family meeting me there. Drive up to Sunshine Coast, then truck both back to Perth. I am looking forward to this holiday.
