Went to the Brisbane show today and we put down deposit on the 14.44-4.

I believe we got a good deal...

Inclusions are:
Carefree awning
Herron 2.2 a/c
90w solar pack
150L Dometic 3-way
Gas bayonet
Anderson plug
Starter pack (drinking hose, 15amp lead and spillage hose)

We were pretty much after a basic van and are happy. We want to do a couple of mods ourselves but even these are minimal.

We are taking the stock model, so the wait is minimal. So any forum members who take a look, please be gentle with her! ;)
so this means we may even get a weekend trip or two in before Christmas!

Congrats BJ, I will have a look at her tomorrow, we are heading in to the show in the morning. Going to go and say hi to the Jayco boys. Promise to be careful.....

How was the show, other than vans was there much other stuff, like accessories. I don't need a van now and don't want to see prices.........will walk through the Jayco area lookin at me feet.

Thx

I'm sure there'll be stuff there you never even dreamed you needed.
Have a nice day at the show.

Is it my imagination or is this model becoming increasingly popular?

Congrats BJ on the van purchase. We were in there today as well. Looking at accessories as we already have our 16.49-3. :) Bet you guys are stoked especially since you will have it before christmas. :)

Jas - there were some accessories but not as much as the main caravan show earlier in the year. Some good buys to be had though. :)

Cheers

Thanks everyone, yes will be nice to have pretty quickly. The minister for war and finance said that this was what she wanted! I'm not fussed in the fabric but hey got a pretty good saving. Jas, as Antman said, there is not much there but we missed the advance display. The June show is definitely the better for bits and pieces.

Well done BJ. Glad you are happy with your deal. I thought the 14.44.4 on show was an Outback but was there an on road model as well?

I agree there was not much else on sale but it is always good to look. :D

Nice one BJ.
Great idea with the starter pack. I don't think that was around when I purchased my van. Or perhaps it is a show special thing.

Congrats mate,we had the option of taking one that they had in stock but the mrs wasn't too keen on the fabric colours so ordered one with the fabric colours and benchtop that she wanted. I think the 14.44.4 is going to be the star in the range as the set up is great for a family with 1or2 kids. Our eldest is at the age where he may or may not come with us on trips away so the bottom bunk can be used as a storage area.
