My hubby and I were deciding the same thing about 2 weeks ago.
We decided to go for the weber q 220.
With the z&b its barbeques galore brand, so they do tend to stear u away from the weber q.
With the weber q 220 we got ours from our local gas shop that specialises in weber q's. U can't get them at BBQ galore or BCF, they only stock the q200.
Difference with the weber q220 and weber 200 is that the q220 has a higher lid for roasts, and the thermometer :)

We did like the look of the z@b but glad we got the weber q. We actually based our choice from looking up the bbq's on product review website and signing up to choice website!
On choice the weber q had more ticks then the ž&b.
We haven't been away yet and using our weber a lot. We have made pizza's, and steak, it's awesome!

Totally agree regarding the pizza's and steak :)

We have the babyQ 100 with the high lid and thermometer for the van and the Q220 for home..... Use nothing else but a small cartridge single burner cooker when away (for gravy, plain veges etc) and the kitchen wall oven has only been used once since getting the Q220 around a year ago!!!

Can't comment on the Z&B as we haven't looked or tried one.

I have no experience with the Z&G, other than I think they look good. We have a Weber Baby 100 (high lid), but we found that too small for our family of five. So we recently bought the new 2000 (low lid model online thanks to eBays 50% off deal. Haven't used it yet but I can see from the size that it will be more suitable.
The main reason I chose the weber are.
- I read lots of good reviews from caravan people.
- Weber is a trusted brand, have heard their warranty service is good.
- Build quality seems solid and simple.
- Accessories and parts are readily available form dealers and general retailers such as Masters etc.
- There are plenty of accessories available.
- Bayonet style hose readily available and it is also approved for Natural gas. Many BBQ's are not.
Downside would only be they take a little while to get used to as they are not like cooking in a 4 burner bbq with hood. Reading the book helps;).

Edit: By the way if readers are looking at Weber Q's, there are new models for 2014. As an example the old 200 is now a 2000 etc, so knowing that you might be able to do deals on old stock. I cannot see what the difference is. They still have dealer and general stockist models. Dealer models are better equipped.

We went with the Ziggy and love it, if you go to BBQ's galore and inspect them side by side you will notice that the fold out sides are much more stable on the ziggy, you can sit something heavy on them whereas the weber sides are very flimsy. cooking is the same principal and results are the same as mum has the weber, i also like the darker colour as the inside of the weber lids discolour. Either cook fabulously:) weber $50 cheaper

We went the Q220 to start with, with the higher lid. The higher lid didn't fit through the side hatch, so sat on the floor in the van or when not needed for longer periods had to drop it through the lift doors under the bed, bit of a pain. So like @macca, grabbed a new weber in the EBay Sale, got a Q2000 for $200. The lower lid fits in the side hatch now making packing up easier. I also don't think we will have to many issues with the lower lid and roasts. Never really used the temp gauge. When it's hot it's hot! The 220 or 2000 plate size is good for our family of 4 (with 2 growing lads). The Q220 will get used at home.
As for how good they are, I am very happy. Can't comment on the Z&G though.
Happy buying.

We also have the Weber baby Q high lid.

We also purchased a full hot plate so it can be used in 'Aussie BBQ' mode or the weber baking mode.

We are very happy with it.

Hi all. When travelling with the q200 where and how are you storing them. Have a 17.56 so looking for ideas. Do you place them in a canvas bag or similar. Thanks

We have a Ziggy two burner , great BBQ , gets real hot and you can cook anything on it or in it. Cooks for a family of 4 no worries .We looked at the small one they brought out yesterday at BBQs Galore, looks ok , decent hot plate .Just the equal to the baby Q ,

Cheers
