Hi everyone,

Just have the weber on the balcony with its first cooking session. I've got a full chook in there sitting on a trevet which is sitting on foil. However the temp is stabilized at 200 degrees with the flame on minimum. I can't get it any lower and the chook is starting to burn, I thought the temp would be able to be a lot lower.

When I pre heated the temp got to 250 really easily quickly, hoping the temp gauge is working properly.

Any input appreciated on lowering the temp, at the moment I've got the lid slightly propped up but this is a pain.

Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike, I gave mine a burl on the weekend, was able to getthe temp to hover at 150 no probs. Maybe you could flick the query through to the weber website. Was the weather very hot when you were cooking, they do say the ambient temps can affect these bbqs
