WDH question?

Hi, I have a 275 kg Hayman Reese WDH for our 17.56-2 Expanda. I got it when we had a Prado with a 250 kg ball capability, then we replaced it with a Territory with a 230 kg capability.

I'm now considering changing to a a Silverline 21.65-3 OB Caravan. It has an estimated ball weight of 195 kg. I will tow it with a Ford Ranger with a ball capability of 350 kg.

Question: Can I use my existing WDH so long as my Silverline van ball weight is less than 275 kg?

My understanding would say yes you can, but if you wanna be doubley sure, give the manuffacturer of the WDH a call!

Yep it will be fine.

my WDH is over rated for my van, when I went to get it I took the van in for them to set it up, when I arrived they said they didn't have stock, they gave me the next one up for the same price
I spoke to Hayman Reece at a show and was told you should never one heavier than required that sort of makes sense but wont need a new one if we upgraded
